The Wicker Park Psychotherapists Collective

About Us

Our Story

The Wicker Park Psychotherapists Collective was founded by Cynthia Bassuk LCPC, Kara Dover and Laura Foster LCPC who wanted to make private practice less isolating, more accessible, sustainable, and fun. After 14 years of running successful group practices, Cynthia and Laura saw the need for a community where independent therapists could grow their careers without sacrificing work/life balance or support. And they partnered with their trusted office manager and biller, Kara Dover to fulfill their vision.

Together, they created a membership-based collective designed to give psychotherapists the best of all worlds: the freedom of running your own practice and the resources, consultation, and camaraderie of a group practice.
