Kara Dover is the founder of RMS Billing Services, a boutique insurance billing company specializing exclusively in mental health practices. She partners with therapists, counselors, and small group practices to manage the behind-the-scenes insurance work — from contracting and claims submission to EOB tracking and denial follow-up — so providers can focus on client care without the stress of navigating billing systems.

RMS Billing was created with a simple mission: to make insurance billing stress-free while maintaining accuracy, transparency, and trust. Kara believes in clear communication, personalized service, and adapting workflows to fit the unique needs of every practice she supports.

In addition to running RMS, Kara has served as the Office Manager and Certified Billing Specialist for ACCL Chicago since 2019. In that role, she oversees administrative operations, intake coordination, scheduling, and insurance management — keeping the practice running smoothly and clients supported with warmth and respect.
