Nora Violante
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I established my practice with a deep commitment to helping individuals and couples untangle from painful internal struggles, build resilience, and create lives aligned with what truly matters to them. Guided by the belief that human struggle is not a sign that you are broken, I emphasize a compassionate, collaborative environment where you can show up exactly as you are—and build real, lasting momentum.
Drawing from integrative, evidence-based frameworks—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET)—I tailor our work to your unique story rather than applying a rigid, one-size-fits-all plan. Whether you are an individual navigating anxiety, trauma, or life transitions, or a partner seeking to break exhausting, repetitive conflict cycles, I focus on practical strategies to help you drop the internal fight, handle discomfort with greater ease, and cultivate genuine emotional connection.
My clinical background includes ten years serving Veterans within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), where I specialized in treating complex trauma, co-occurring disorders, and substance use. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), I bring a grounded, high-level clinical understanding to managing addiction and mental health challenges. Additionally, as a new mother myself, I have a specialized interest in supporting the perinatal community—guiding individuals and couples through pregnancy, postpartum anxiety and depression, fertility journeys, and the profound transition to parenthood. I am actively working toward obtaining my Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C).
Through my work, I lead with empathy, clinical depth, and authenticity, ensuring every client receives personalized care grounded in trust and respect.
