Chelsea Tirado
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Does anxiety or self-doubt keep you from fully showing up in your life? Is avoidance preventing you from doing what you desperately want? If you’re in college or early adulthood, you might feel like everyone else has it figured out while you’re stuck questioning yourself, feeling “not good enough,” or constantly putting other people’s needs ahead of your own. Maybe you find yourself overthinking every decision, replaying conversations, or worrying about how you’re coming across to others. You may have tried distraction or staying busy to avoid painful feelings, yet nothing seems to work long-term.
I’m Chelsea (she/her), a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent. My goal is to empower anxious young adults to break free from cycles of perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-doubt so they can confidently move forward toward a life that is meaningful for them. Grounded in curiosity and collaboration, I bring a warm, approachable, and occasionally humorous style to therapy. Together, we will honor your unique story while focusing on changing how you respond to difficult thoughts and emotions and building new coping strategies when old habits no longer work.
My focus areas include:
Anxiety
Self-Esteem & Self-Doubt
People-Pleasing/ Boundary Setting
Life Transitions (College & Early Adulthood)
Stress and Burnout (Academic & Work-Related)
I believe in bringing my authentic self to my work, which includes a deep love for animals and community. Outside of the therapy space, I enjoy cooking, watching reality TV, and volunteering with a local cat rescue. My home life is happily managed by my two cats, Daisy and Adobo.
