Alison Anich
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I work with adults of all ages, with a particular focus on young adults navigating the complexities of early adulthood. This phase can feel exciting and full of possibility, but also uncertain and overwhelming. You may be making big life decisions, stepping into new responsibilities, and trying to understand how your past shapes who you are today. At any stage of adulthood, it’s common to feel stuck or unsure of your path. Therapy can offer a space to reflect, gain clarity, and strengthen your sense of self in the present.
I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, including work in community mental health, intensive outpatient (IOP), and inpatient psychiatry. I support clients with concerns such as life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, identity exploration, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, burnout, and stress.
My approach is integrative and tailored to you, drawing from mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and Sensorimotor psychotherapy. My work is trauma-informed, with experience supporting clients in exploring and healing from past experiences when it feels safe and appropriate.
I also offer expressive arts therapy as an additional tool for healing and self-understanding. This may include drawing, writing, or other forms of creative expression, guided by your comfort.
I aim to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, deepen your self-understanding, and move toward a path that feels authentic and empowered.
